Common geometry surrounds us everywhere we look in the form and shapes of squares, rectangles, circles, octagons, and the “triangle”. These shapes are the basis structures for a lot of common design, not only from the obvious of buildings and cars, but to faces, body types, hair styles, clothes, plants, and the list, is endless. All you have to do is look a little more closely and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Having art education, I can tell that when I comes to figure drawing, you are trained to begin drawing the body using squares, rectangles, circles, and triangles, and build the body drawing from those most basic shapes. It was, and is a great tool for helping when the beginner, or the most advanced artist finds themselves at roadblock when creating the next latest and greatest masterpiece. (more…)

Yes it’s true, women’s bodies come in all shapes and sizes since the beginning of man. As such we have all had our fair share of likes and dislikes as result of what we are attracted to when it comes to that aspect of human attraction attached to sexuality. Thankfully we are not created equal and all have something different to bring to the table, cause if we were all the same it would make for a very boring meal. You’ve heard the saying “variety is the spice of life”? Well I hope you have because variety in body shapes is what’s sexy this week. (more…)

We all want them, and for many at the gym on a regular basis, working them is all they do, and work them hard they do. The routines are varied, strenuous, time consuming, and take a great deal of time to produce results. Diet is also a key factor in reducing body fat and the layer that “lovingly” covers them. They also are the spot on the body where stress and emotions, also a play a key factor in keeping them flat and defined and fat free. Flat, tight, toned abdominals, that’s what sexy this week.

Abdominal muscles are not only sexy, but very functional, supporting the body, keeping the guts in place, and from the considered shallow aesthetic of which I am a supporter, seriously HOT! Creating defined abs is a serious challenge, and I am currently working on them myself. My own are tight, somewhat flat, except when I am bloated, and getting more and more defined as my time at the gym increases each time I am there. I work them hard, change out (more…)

Albeit a few days late this week, but only for a few reasons. My original intention of Sexy This Week was to stimulate thought, and create a happy awareness of life and the lovely elements that make up our daily lives. Elements that in my eyes, and those of many others, are sexy and beautiful, sexy and beautiful enough to put a smile on a dull face, and make a gloomy mind blossom into colourful thoughts of epic proportions. Tighty whiteys, boxers, boxer briefs, briefs, thongs and the mankini, although far from my favourite, are just a few of the names used for the different styles offered to the men when it comes to underwear. The guys for such a long time have had very little in the way of selection when it came to the coverings of their deliciously delectable meat and potatoes coveted by all. Women have had it good for far to long when it comes to their under things, and to see the offerings now being made to the men, is truly a breath of fresh air!

The first known “underwear” for men dated back almost 7000 years when prehistoric man used a “loincloth“, made of leather to cover the goods while running errands, which didn’t change for quite some time. The ancient Egyptians portrayed it a multitude of hieroglyphs and appeared to be wearing a kilt like covering, while  the Romans generally wore commando under their togas and battle gear. The loincloth was a staple well into the middle ages when the “codpiece” began to come into play. A pouch that was either worn over loose fitting breeches, or under, depending on the wearer, designed to keep everything in place with the ultimate goal of the presentation of virility to onlookers by enhancing proportions, that generally was an illusion, not unlike the padded bra of today.

I’ve been asked the question; “what do you do to keep looking the way you do?” many times, and I’ve gone through the answer at great length many times, so I thought I would share a little bit of that here.

Looking and feeling good takes time and effort, so yes, it does bother me when folks tell me; “it’s easy for you to get up and look they way you do!”, another statement I get a lot of. Well let me tell you, just like everyone else, I have to get up in the morning and do the proverbial shit, shower and shave! I apologize for the crass description, but it’s a saying we’ve all heard many times before and is the perfect way to describe it.

Agreed, good genetics do a play a part, but for me, cosmetically, I’ve also done a few things along the way to look the way I want by improving on what I was given at birth. These are things that I chose to do, not anyone else, I am my own mind and body able to make my own decisions. (more…)

Flirt; to behave as though sexually attracted to someone, but playfully rather than with serious intentions.

Whether for serious or playful intentions we all do it conscious of it or not, subtle variations in body language like the flicking of the hair, making eye contact, gentle touching, open stances, closeness to one another, laughing at jokes that just aren’t funny, teasing, you get the picture.
