Tidbits; Vibrator Frequencies

The world of vibrators designed for the nether regions is pretty amazing, especially with the multitude of choices out there. I am going to forgo the colours, shapes and sizes, and talk more about those in later tidbits, for now I am going to focus on the vibration, and in particular the pitch and speed otherwise known as frequency.

Many are faced with a multitude of options and truthfully just don’t know where to start, and the most common is the vibration itself. Toys vibrate at different speeds and levels and one thing is for sure that the consumer will know right off the bat whether they like a toy based solely on that aspect alone.

What first attracts a person to test a toy at the shop, of course is the colour, size, and shape, and here I said I was not going to talk about that, well ok, think of it as buying a car. You are attracted to the sleek design, the colour, curves, basically the look and feel of which the same holds definitely true for adult toys. You look, you like, start it up and not so much! That sex machine that looks like it should be roaring down the highway effortlessly powered by 400 hp is sounding more like a 4 speed at 5000 rpm ready to blow, and being the connoisseur you are, you want power that matches your toy of preference.vibrator car

Think of it this way; the high pitched wine of a dental drill versus the low pitched rumble of a Harley Davidson, which do you prefer? For most a dental drill makes us wince and shrink back whereas a Harley, well let’s just say gets a person ready to jump on for the ride! High pitched vibration tends to completely numb everything out or irritate, and in my experience and many others, a slow, gentle, low rumble gets the job done perfectly. That’s not to say that high pitched vibration frequency won’t work, it will, but given that vibration is something so personal, it’s just a good idea to know what it is you’ll be asking for when you go to make your purchase.

To be honest I am not a fan of vibration, but prefer friction, piston action, or electrical stimulation through a gentle relaxing and contracting of the muscles.

A good example of a low vibration is in the products from the folks at Evolved with their dial up, dial down feature that control’s the level of the vibration with a low pitch and low to high frequency. The only thing that may be considered a draw back by some is that fact that all it does, is vibrate, but is none the less a perfect example of what I am talking about. On the other end is the Paris Style Aile with 10 vibration patterns, but with a high pitched frequency, it makes my teeth clench, but compare for yourselves. Younger women tend to like higher pitches, and the more mature, or experienced woman the lower pitches.

So the next time you are out ready to plunk down some dollars for your next new best friend ask yourself what it is you want from a toy, and don’t be shy to ask the clerk, they should know. Or ask me, I’ll help you out!

Happy shopping!
