Alexis G-String for the Wild and Wondrous Side of Wacky Wednesday

Pasties (singular pasty or pastie) are patches that cover a person’s nipples and areolae which are affixed with adhesive. Though pasties are commonly associated with strippers, burlesque shows and erotic entertainment, they are also at times worn more casually as an undergarment and occasionally as beachwear

Let’s be honest, we all love them! Those little coverings that grace a beautiful breast, to entice, and captivate, while retaining a little “modesty’ for the wearer. Creations adorned with jewels artfully and intricately placed atop, lace, leather, or satin, the perfect accessory for any nipple.wacky-wednesday-alexis-g-string-crown-jewel

1920’s Berlin the city of Sin, Sex & Scandal. If they were roaring in the Speakeasys of the United States they were screaming bloody murder in the Kabaretts of East Berlin.

A haven of vice & decandence the socially disruptive Weimar Republic was at the hub of drug and sexual culture. Thrillseekers from all over the world flocked this debaucherous city seeking the finest, drugs, prostitution and erotic entertainment venues.

Gay clubs, transvesticism and nudist venues brought forth entertainment of all flavors breaking every artistic and sexual boundary that was laid in it’s path. Artists in Berlin became fused with the city’s underground culture as the borders between Kabarett and legitimate theatre blurred.

The Nazi party called it degenerate art. We call it one HELL of a party!

Tidbits; Gynaecology 101, The Art of the Tasteful Presentation

Playboy 1953

When Playboy first hit the stands in 1953 with Marilyn Monroe as it’s cover star, it was deemed as racy, sexist, in poor taste, and an instant hit! Inside were not only ads, opinions, and articles, but photo spreads. Beautiful, art directed productions in vivid colour, exquisitely set decked, perfect hair and make-up, and tastefully presented. Such was the style of the day in all “men’s” magazines, art, photography, and pretty much all depictions of female nudity and sensuality.

Pin-ups were all over the place, and long before Playboy, in the form of artist renderings and photos created mostly for the troops abroad fighting for our rights and freedoms. Renderings that gave most of these men a glimmer of hope for their triumphant return to their home country and for what life would hold for pin-up1them afterwards. Presentations (more…)
